Description

Medical Renewal: This category is for mariners whose USCG Medical Certificate is expiring and who must maintain medical compliance to continue sailing, renew their MMC, or keep STCW endorsements active.

Renewing your Medical Certificate ensures you remain medically qualified under USCG and STCW standards. The National Maritime Center (NMC) reviews your CG-719K or CG-719K/E, verifying physical fitness, vision, hearing, and any conditions that may impact your ability to safely perform maritime duties. Maritime Credential Consulting manages the renewal process, ensuring your medical documentation is complete, accurate, and submitted correctly.

Medical Certificates are issued in two categories:

  • National Medical Certificate — valid for 5 years
