The National Maritime Center (NMC) oversees the entire credentialing process for U.S. merchant mariners. They evaluate applications, medical certificates, sea service, training compliance, and renewal eligibility.
Our role is to guide mariners through these requirements, organize documentation, identify missing elements, and prepare submissions that align with NMC standards. We work directly with mariners to ensure their applications are complete, accurate, and ready for evaluation, minimizing delays and preventing avoidable rejections.
What is the difference between us and the NMC? The NMC evaluates and issues credentials. We help mariners prepare their documentation so the NMC can process it without delays.
